I love dark romance books, and fall head over heels with the Mafia boss, the stalker and the CEO weekly.
I know I'm not alone in my love of these books, and decided I need to share my love.
My next book due later this year, will be Manhattan sins Control followed by Betrayal in the same series, then Kisses of Ash and Control C control v. With hopefully first installment of Chrome dogs MC out by xmas.

From the very first interview scene, I could feel the sparks between Hasriel and Ryan, and it only got hotter and more complicated with every chapter. I went into this book thinking it would be another office romance, but Tracyann Wright completely surprised me. What I loved most was the way she balanced the intoxicating chemistry between Hasriel and Ryan with the constant tug-of-war of power and vulnerability. Hasriel isn’t your typical heroine, she’s strong-willed, aware of her mistakes, and yet so human in her struggle to resist Ryan. And Ryan… oh, he’s dangerous in the best way. The author captures that razor-thin line between desire and destruction so beautifully that I found myself holding my breath through half the scenes. It wasn’t just steamy; it was emotional, layered, and full of tension that felt authentic. By the end, I wasn’t just rooting for them to be together, I was completely invested in how they would navigate their flaws and passions.

Damien Cross, self-made billionaire is my nemesis, he is the baddie in this tale, and he is the Scooby doo monster at the end of the show. He went up for the same deal at Wintercross 4 years ago and undermined my pitch after I had shared all with him the night before in the hotel bar. I hadn’t realized then that I was being circled by a shark. He had rocked up to the bar all brooding and gorgeous, bought me a drink, which was all, rehearsed and planned and gleaned everything he needed to ruin me the next day, when I arguably felt worse for wear after we drank to the early hours. Wow. Manhattan Sins Obsession grabbed me in the first chapter and didn’t let go. The tension between the characters was electric. The setting in Manhattan was vivid from smoky bars to high-rise penthouses, it felt alive, gritty, dangerous. What a day!
RARE - London July 2025
What an event this was, my first and oh boy will I be going to the next one. Only downside, oh no there wasn't one. Were the queues long, yes they were!, Did I miss out on seeing some key Authors, Totally; but this event was amazing, made new friends in the queue as we traded little baggys of stickers, and bracelets with some amazing things made by those attending. I have a rather fetching wooly Whale and a bracelet that I never take off. The event was timed well, the authors were on top form. Pre-orders were well handled and I got to meet Willow winters , Niki J summers and Eden O'neill . The latter asked me for my fave book, and in true star struck style I forgot how to speak . I dragged along the husband and he loved it too, what's not to love afterall. Make sure you get along to the next one in 2027.
Trigger - J.L Drake
The series opens with a brutal, atmospheric introduction to the Devil’s Reach MC and the world that shaped Trigger. Drake doesn’t shy away from the darkness in his past — she leans into it, giving us a hero who is both terrifying and heartbreakingly human. When Tess enters his life, everything shifts. Her darkness and life makes her perfect for him, and despite how he tries to sabotage that (moments where you are literally shouting NOOOOO) Their connection is raw, jagged, and impossible to ignore. This book sets the tone: violent, emotional, and deeply character‑driven. I was gutted I didnt realise this was a trilogy from start, because I was having withdrawel waiting to be able to afford parts 2 and 3. Personally I think the 3rd book goes on a little too long, but the story is so intricate , it will keep you guessing right to the end. Plus the sex is hot!!!

Wicked proposal - Nicole Fox
This book got me in my feels, Despite Yulian being a bit of a dick, I totally get why Mia falls hard for him. His character is complex with a past as dark an complicated as her own. She is a strong independent single mum who shows how smart and resilient she can be. She blends seamlessly into the Bratva life understanding why Yulian needs to show a very steely gray outward persona. This book has it all, steamy scenes, drama and angst, a real will they wont they vibe here. It drove me to start the next book in the series of 2 Wicked refusal and its just as good and steamier if it can be believed, Note the trigger warnings though as these books do delve into some serious shit. Cant reccoment it enough!

Dante - sadie kincaid
This is the first book in the Chicago Ruthless series, A dark mafia romance . If you like enemies to lovers, this book is for you, Ms kincaid has a way of drawing you in, I was halfway through this book when i ordered the rest of the series. It centres on Dante Moretti the formidable head of the Chicago Cosa Nostra and Kat who gets ensnared by a debt her brother owes. Cold and calculating Mafia boss, meet hot headed fiesty take no shit Kat. A story of control and redemption, the book has violence a plenty, but my god if I wasn't feeling the need to explain every hot flush I was having reading this book, my husband thought i was in menopause and bought me a fan. Word of warning once you start with Ms Kincaids dark men, you wont be able to stop.
